We’re also accredited within the CHAS scheme, having demonstrated compliance with and sound management of current basic Health and Safety legislation.

The Scaffolding Association

DC Access Systems Ltd are an assessed member of The Scaffolding Association, ensuring a pathway to the most up to date changes in legislation.

As a minimum requirement, we ensure every scaffold gang contains an appropriately qualified scaffolder for the type and complexity of the scaffold to be erected, altered or dismantled. This may be an individual who has received training under an industry recognised training scheme and has been awarded the scaffolder card CISRS or someone who has received training under a recognised scheme. Also our scaffolders, if not already certified, will be booked on to the following courses within six weeks of start date:

• Site Safety Training Scheme (COTS)

• Operatives Health, Safety and Environment Test CSCS

• Site Supervisor Training Scheme

• UKATA Category A Asbestos

• Awareness SG4:15 NASC Guidance for Safe Erection, Alteration and Dismantle of Scaffolding

• TG20:13 NASC Guidance for Scaffolding

We continuously strive to improve our performance and retain the services of a professional Health and Safety advisor to ensure that our compliance with Legislation and Codes of Practice is up to date, ensuring we remain a leader in our field.

 

DC Access Systems Ltd acknowledge the requirements of the Construction Industry Regulations and understand the legal obligations under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and related health and safety legislation TG20:13 and The Work at Height Regulations 2005.

 

Our scaffolding contractors have Insurance cover of Public/Products Liability £10,000,000 and Employers Liability £10,000,000.
